Serve with us

Find your place on the team.

From the worship band to the camera booth to editing a sermon clip from your own city — there's a spot here for your gifts, in person or online. Tell us what you love, and we'll help you start serving.

It's easier than you think

Three steps to serving.

No audition, no pressure. Just take the first step and we'll walk with you.

01

Tell us your gifts

Search the teams or send a note — share what you love to do, even if you're not yet sure where you fit.

02

Meet the team

A team lead reaches out, answers your questions, and invites you to come see it in action.

03

Start serving

Jump in with training and a team beside you. Serve at your own pace — there's no pressure.

Many of these roles are fully online — those you can do every step of from home, meeting your team on our Zoom.

A safe place for every child

Caring for kids well is a priority. Our Kids & Youth volunteers are screened, never serve one-on-one, and check every child in and out so they're accounted for from drop-off to pick-up. Questions about our safeguarding approach? We'd love to talk.

No matter where you are

Serve from anywhere in the world.

You don't have to be in the room to be on the team. Many of our roles are 100% online — you can join us on Zoom, talk face to face, and help build God's family from your own city, country, or timezone.

Join us on Zoom

Hop on the team Zoom to meet your lead, talk face to face, and pray together — no travel needed.

Deliver it fully online

Edit a sermon clip, design a graphic, build slides, translate a message, or write a devotional — real work you can do from home and hand off online.

Serve on your own clock

Most online roles are flexible and async, so you can serve around your timezone and your week — a few hours, whenever they fit.

For the nations

We're a church for “God, Family, and Nations” — so wherever you are, there's a real place for you in this global family.

Online volunteers meet, talk, and pray together on the DMI team Zoom — so wherever you are, you're never serving alone.

Worship & Music

Lead the room into God's presence.

In person or online

Our band and vocal team carry Sunday worship — and we're always making room for new musicians and singers, whatever your level. A few jobs, like building song slides and chord charts, can even be done from home during the week.

  • Bass guitar
  • Piano / keys
  • Cajón
  • Drums
  • Lead vocals
  • Backing vocals
  • Music director
  • Song & slide prep (can be done online)
  • Chord charts (can be done online)
  • Set list prep (can be done online)

Playing and singing happen live in the room, but a few jobs — building song slides, chord charts, and the set list — can be done from home during the week and sent to the band before Sunday. We'll walk you through it.

Tech & IT

Keep sound, screens, and systems running.

  • Livestream tech
  • Networking & Wi-Fi

Anything touching member data is handled securely, only after onboarding, with access limited to what each role needs.

Hospitality & Welcome

Be the first warm hello.

In person or online

Greeters, ushers, and the welcome desk make every guest feel like family from the moment they walk in — or the moment they say hello online. A few roles, like welcoming first-time guests by call or note, happen entirely from home.

Roles & skills

  • Usher
  • Welcome desk
  • Coffee & refreshments
  • First-time guest follow-up (can be done online)

Greeting, ushering, and the welcome desk are in the room — but welcoming first-time guests by call, email, or a warm note, and greeting people in the live chat, can all be done from home. Adults only, and online volunteers are onboarded by a team lead.

Prayer & Care

Stand with people in every season.

Adults only; prayer for under-18s is never one-on-one and always runs through a known leader, and requests are kept confidential.

Outreach & Missions

Adults only. Seeker conversations always go through the church's own accounts, never your personal profiles — and a pastor steps in for anything sensitive.
